Our Wanderings

This is the first leg of what we hope will be a wonderful journey and we want to develop a way for all of our friends to stay connected with our lives. This is just an experiment and we are certainly novices at this whole process, so be patient as our "Blogging" efforts are tried out and tested. Here is the cottage where we are staying in Petosky, Michigan. We woke up this morning (Friday, December 2) with a temperature of 19 and about 2 inches of snow. You are looking at the back of the cottage (according to all the natives). The front faces Crooked Lake which is not more than 3-4 miles from Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan. It is so quiet here this time of year - no boats or tourists. The setting is perfect for those who need to rest and be renewed. So there you have it - our first efforts at a blog!

I want to tell the both of you how much Billy and I love you. We're so happy the two of you found each other in this crazy world. We are so proud to see you both living out your dreams. Travel safely and we'll miss you.

I recommend a good boxer dive into the snow. It is quite refreshing and really gets the blood flowing or not flowing into areas of the body. I think it is wonderful that you are traveling and look forward to hearing about your adventures. Unlike most people who would say, "Do something I wouldn't do," please do something I would do and document it with a lot of pictures! Get crazy and live life to the fullest! See you in July! Love Ya!

Hey Don and Mary Ann!
So glad to know that I can touch base with you this way and see what wonderful things are coming to you from Europe. I am vicariously journeying with you! Many blessings for safe travel and lots of "magical" moments!
